1.12.0

Added

  • Demo farm: anyone using the demo farm sees a permanent notice with the link to create their own farm; inviting members, uploading photos, using the assistant and scanning labels are off there, and the data goes back to its starting state every night.

Fixed

  • The unsubscribe link in the daily digest now opens the preferences of the farm that sent the e-mail, even when another farm is active in the dashboard; before, someone in several farms could change the preference of a different farm by mistake.

1.11.1

Fixed

  • The server's request limit is now counted per visitor instead of per network edge, so a busy farm can no longer slow another one down or exhaust the site's demo form for everyone else.

1.11.0

Added

  • Daily e-mail digest: at the hour the farm chooses (5:00 by default), each person gets what is pending today — calvings, dry-offs, heats, health tasks, milk withdrawals, inventory alerts and production drops — according to what their role may see. The farm sets the hour and sections in Settings → Operations; the owner and managers choose who gets it in Members, and each person can unsubscribe from Notifications. Also, seven days before a member's access ends, a notice goes to that person and to the owner and managers.
  • Team tasks: the owner or manager assigns tasks — once, daily or on chosen weekdays — to anyone on the team, including one-click assignment from the home's pending items (calvings, dry-offs, heats, health, withdrawals, inventory). Each person sees “My tasks today” on the home and in the daily digest and marks them done; Team → Tasks shows the whole week.
  • Time off and milking roster: each person requests days off from Team → Time off and the owner or manager approves them (or records them directly); the team calendar shows who is away. Team → Milking roster sets who milks each shift of the week, with per-day exceptions, and the milking screen says who milks today. Assigning a task on someone's day off warns you; the daily digest says whether you milk today, how many requests await approval and whether yours was approved.
  • A page your role does not let you see now shows an “Access denied” screen with a link back to the dashboard, instead of staying empty.
  • Plan e-mails: the owner and managers get a reminder 7 days and 1 day before the period ends, a notice when it ends with 10 days of grace and another 5 days before the grace runs out, a notice that the farm was paused when no payment arrived, a confirmation of every recorded payment and, if the farm cancelled its plan, a warning before its data is deleted.
  • The plan in the dashboard: a paused farm shows a “The farm is paused” screen with the administrator's address to reactivate it, a way to switch to another farm when there is one and one to sign out. The owner and managers see a notice above every page when the trial is about to end, when the period is in grace or when the plan is cancelled, which can be hidden for the day; in Settings, the new Subscription tab shows the status, the expiry, the users and the next charge, and Members shows how many of the included users the farm uses. The invitation to the owner of a farm on trial says when the trial ends.

Fixed

  • The person filter in Team → Tasks lists the whole assignable team, not only the people with tasks that week.
  • Refusals that come with a reason — a farm you no longer belong to, a deactivated or paused farm, or a business rule in photos and notifications — now reach the app with that reason, so you see the translated message instead of a generic error. The animal import now points at the row that failed.
  • If the server fails while checking your session (for example, the database is not responding), the app no longer signs you out or shows the technical detail: it says the service failed so you can try again.

1.10.0

Changed

  • Sales: when picking a line's cheese batch, each option shows the day and milking of its milk, like the Stock tab, followed by its remaining kilograms and batch number ("Friday · afternoon · 12.5 kg (20261002-1)"). A batch's stock adjustment names it the same way.

Fixed

  • Milking: when two people work the same shift at once, a cow can no longer end up recorded inside a milking saved as a total (her liters were counted twice in production), nor be added to a milking that is being closed; the second action gets the usual notice.
  • Photos: uploading photos works again (farm logo, animals, products, supplies and medications). Photos uploaded before this version were removed, so upload again the ones you need.

1.9.0

Added

  • External roles: the owner or a manager invites their vet or accountant from the new Settings → Members tab, with an optional last day of access, and can change the role or the date and remove access at any time. Each animal's health and reproduction history shows who recorded each row, and people without the finance permission no longer see costs, inventory valuation or purchase prices.
  • Milking: a milking can be recorded as a total (the shift's liters and cows milked) instead of cow by cow, chosen per milking. When cows are under withholding the app asks for the discarded liters so that milk never reaches cheese. Herd production, the tank and feed efficiency include those totals; per-cow reports say how many liters they cannot split, and drop alerts skip those days.

Changed

  • Supply purchases: any item with a unit can be bought by the container by typing what one holds, how many and the price of each, and a loose purchase takes the total paid instead of a price per unit, so nothing ever needs dividing. A summary shows the quantity, total and price per unit before saving, the app asks for confirmation when the price is 5 times above or below the last purchase, and correcting a purchase offers the same two ways.
  • Workers no longer see the Finance section, and only the owner and managers see the farm’s member list.

Fixed

  • Animal sales: in a sale's detail the animal row no longer sits under the "Batch or pool" column, the "Animal sales" report shows its total row on screen, the amount when registering a departure by sale shows the currency, and when two people register the same animal's departure at once the second one gets a clear message instead of an unexpected error.
  • Reopening a milking session or a cheese batch, or deleting a batch, now waits for a sale or a cheese batch drawing on that milk or cheese at the same moment, so stock can no longer end up negative.
  • Adding a line to a sale now scrolls to it and puts the cursor on its type. The Cheese (batches and products) and Purchases tabs now live in the page address, like the animal and farm settings tabs: reloading, sharing the link or going back opens the same tab.

1.8.0

Added

  • Selling an animal now shows up in the money: when you register a departure by sale you enter the amount and, if you want, the buyer and the weight, and the sale appears in Sales, in the profit and loss ("Animals" row), in the cash flow and in that animal's profitability. A bought-in animal can carry its purchase price, which counts as a cost. The profit and loss shows revenue split into cheese, milk and animals, and the home tile is now called "Income" and opens the profit and loss.
  • New "Other income" tab in Finance for money that comes in without being a sale: breeding service, manure, pasture rental and subsidies, with an optional customer (and a way to create one without leaving the form). They add to the profit and loss, with one row per category, to the cash flow and to the home "Income" tile. Expenses and other income can now be exported as a PDF, Excel or CSV report.

Fixed

  • Expenses, the profit and loss, profitability, the sales, milk, cheese and nutrition reports, milking, the health and reproduction calendars, the home page's weekly cards and inventory purchases always open on the farm's day: with the browser in another time zone, around the turn of the day or the month they could show the wrong day or month and hide what had just been entered.

1.7.0

Added

  • mi-finca.com has its public site: what Mi Finca does domain by domain, pricing, and a form to request a demo or start the 14-day trial. The manual stays at mi-finca.com/manual.
  • A health protocol can carry its medication and the dose per animal: marking it as applied records the treatment, draws the stock from the lot you pick and puts the animal on withdrawal when the medication calls for it. A dose that will not be given can be skipped, with its reason and, optionally, a date to be reminded again.
  • Cheese stock shows the day and milking of each batch ("Friday · morning"), taken from the milk it was made with.
  • Supplies, cheese inputs and medications can record their content per container: a purchase is entered as containers and price per container, and Mi Finca works out the quantity and the price per unit (2 bottles of 100 ml at ₡1,000 go in as 200 ml at ₡10.00 per ml).
  • Milk sales: every sale line can be cheese or milk. Milk is sold by the liter from the direct-sale pools of a closed milking, with the farm's milk price as the suggestion; the milking shows how much was sold and how much is left, and reports, the home screen and finance count that revenue.

Changed

  • Phones no longer show tabs: every section opens as an accordion, like the animal page.
  • The greeting and the farm logo on the home page are larger.

Fixed

  • The sales-by-period and top-buyer reports, and their export, show the liters of milk sold next to the kilograms of cheese; the home sales tile says kilograms, liters or both.
  • Unit prices below 1 (for example ₡0.0833 per ml) show four decimals in the movement history, the purchases panel and the report's average prices instead of rounding to ₡0.08.
  • Saving a medication whose scanned label carried a lot or expiry closes the form and shows the offer to record the purchase in its own dialog; the form used to look stuck open.
  • Two sales or batches recorded at the same time against the same milk pool or cheese batch can no longer draw more than what is left.
  • Withheld liters on the home screen and the milk report count only the milk produced from the treatment's first dose to the end of the withdrawal; they used to include the milk from before the treatment as well.
  • The reproductive calendar no longer shows "Could not load alerts" on a cold load: the indicators and the calendar wait for the session to be ready.
  • When the farm settings fail to load, the page shows the error and a Retry button instead of getting stuck on "No data available".
  • On a phone, the protocol, supplier and cheese product cards no longer cut off their buttons: the actions move to a row of their own.

1.6.3

Fixed

  • The cheese batch list loads in a fraction of the time: material cost and stock are read once for the whole list instead of batch by batch.

1.6.2

Fixed

  • Saving a form with an invalid value moves the cursor to the first field in error instead of leaving it on the button.

1.6.1

Changed

  • Quantities are stored with up to 4 decimals (litres with 2): what the screen shows is exactly what the record holds.
  • An input a recipe uses, or a feed a nutrition plan uses, can no longer be deleted, and an active item name cannot be repeated within the same area.

Fixed

  • Selling a whole cheese batch leaves its stock at exactly zero: no stranded fraction of a kilo remains.
  • Stock on the feed tab and the other inventory tabs shows clean decimals.
  • Quantities no longer group thousands in Spanish, so “15000 kg” cannot be read as fifteen.
  • When saving a feed or a cheese input, the duplicate-name and locked-unit messages appear next to the field instead of in a notification behind the dialog.

1.6.0

Added

  • A registered purchase can be corrected without deleting the item: price, quantity, date, supplier, lot and expiry are fixed from the movement history, and stock and average cost recompute on their own.

Fixed

  • The Mi Finca logo shows on the landing page and on the console sign-in screen before anyone signs in, and link previews show their image again.
  • Inventory and cheese-stock adjustments are recorded by picking “Out” or “In” plus a positive amount: no more typing a negative number, which was impossible on a phone because the numeric keyboard has no minus key.
  • Cheese stock is ordered from the newest batch to the oldest, and sold-out batches are folded away instead of padding the list.
  • Save and cancel stay visible at the foot of every dialog, with no need to scroll to the end of the form.
  • On a phone, the per-row buttons in the movement history stay reachable even when the table is wider than the screen.
  • The movement history fits on screen: the actions column is no longer hidden outside the dialog.
  • Quantities in the movement history and in feed consumption show clean decimals, with no tails like “2.3400000000000003”.

1.5.0

Added

  • Mi Finca has a logo: it shows in the sidebar, on the home page, in the browser tab and when a link is shared.
  • A cow can be marked as not milked in a shift, with the reason: it does not count as production, does not lower her average, and never triggers the drop alert.
  • Milk fed to calves is recorded as its own destination, apart from self-consumption: it is a rearing cost, not the household's milk.

Fixed

  • The feed checkbox in the milking grid says what it does: the «Skip» column has its own header, and the button names how many cows the ration will be registered for.
  • A recipe’s suggested dose no longer appears with a string of decimals.
  • Quantity fields accept the comma as a decimal separator, the milking litres box included: typing 8,25 no longer wipes what you typed.
  • Mi Finca works properly on a phone: wide tables scroll instead of being cut off, the home cards no longer run off the screen, and Settings opens its sections one at a time instead of dragging the page sideways.

1.4.0

Added

  • The dashboard announces what’s new in each release: a notice when new features arrive and a «What’s new» entry with the details.

Changed

  • Mi Finca now lives on its own domain: the app at app.mi-finca.com, the manual at mi-finca.com and sign-in at auth.mi-finca.com. Everyone signs in once more.

1.3.0

Added

  • Platform console for the Mi Finca team: create and deactivate farms, invite people by e-mail and see their status (pending until their first sign-in), change roles, transfer ownership, grant superadministrators, edit the permission matrix and the health-protocol templates, and read the audit log and the system health.
  • Own invitation e-mail, in Spanish or English per farm, with the dashboard link; when e-mail is not configured the console shows the text to copy.

Changed

  • A person who signs in without belonging to any farm gets a clear message instead of a generic error.

Fixed

  • Invitations from the platform console answer within seconds even when the mail server is unavailable: the API reaches SMTP over IPv4 and no longer waits two minutes on a connection that never opens.

1.2.0

Added

  • Exportable reports: every reports page now has an Export button with PDF, Excel and CSV, and the PDF and Excel files carry the farm details (CUE, tax ID, contact), the period consulted and who generated them — the PDF also the farm logo and color. A new Reports page also gathers every report in the system in one place.

Fixed

  • A new health protocol applies from the day it is created: animals already past the first-dose age become due that day instead of overdue since birth.
  • "Today" follows the farm’s time zone everywhere: calendars, form dates and alerts no longer jump to the next day in the evening.

1.1.0

Added

  • Full cheesemaking: product catalog, batches with ingredients and traceability, trace reports, cheese stock and cost per batch.
  • Sales: customers, sales records and period reports.
  • Nutrition: plans per category, feed consumption, ration suggestions in the milking grid and efficiency reports.
  • Finance: expenses, profit and loss, cash flow and profitability per product.
  • Executive home: monthly indicators (milk, net result, sales, cheese cost), today’s pending items and top producers.
  • Conversational assistant that answers questions about your farm’s data in the language you ask in.
  • Per-farm branding: logo and primary color, shown on the home page and across the app.
  • Getting-your-farm-up-and-running manual chapter with a printable checklist for loading a farm from scratch.

Changed

  • Milking: collapsible per-shift cards and an explicit session opening before recording.
  • Health protocol and customer names are unique per farm.

Fixed

  • Role permissions are applied consistently on every page.
