Farm settings
The settings define the base values of your farm. The production modules (milking, cheese, sales) use these values as the source of truth.

- Daily digest
- Every day, at the hour you choose in the Operations tab (5:00 farm time by default), Mi Finca e-mails what is pending today: calvings, dry-offs, heats, health tasks, milk withdrawals, inventory alerts and production drops. You choose which sections it carries; each person only sees the ones their role allows, and on a day with nothing pending nothing is sent.Where it appears: Settings → Operations tab
- Subscription
- Your farm's Mi Finca plan: its status (Trial, Current, Grace, Paused or Cancelled), when it expires, how many users it uses and the expected charge. The owner and the manager see it read-only; payments and plan changes are recorded by the Mi Finca administrator.Where it appears: Settings → Subscription tab

- Trial: a new farm starts with a 14-day trial. During the last 7 days, the owner and the manager see a notice above every page with the day it ends.
- Price: USD 10 a month, or the whole year for the price of 10 months. It is charged in the farm's currency; in colones, at 500 per dollar.
- Users: the plan includes 5 users, the owner included. Each additional user adds USD 2 a month to the next charge; inviting is never blocked.
- Grace: if the period ends without a payment, the farm keeps working for 10 more days and the notice switches to the day it would be paused.
- Pause: if no payment was recorded when the grace ends, the farm is paused. Nobody on the team can use it: every page shows “The farm is paused” with the administrator’s address. The data is kept and a payment reactivates it at once.
- Cancellation: a cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the paid period and is paused after that. Its data is kept for 90 days; on day 80 the owner and the manager get a warning by e-mail and on day 90 the farm is deleted.
- To pay, change the plan or reactivate the farm, write to the Mi Finca administrator: the address is shown in this tab, in the notice and on the paused screen.
- Branding
- Farm logo and primary color. The logo shows up on the dashboard home, next to the greeting; the color tints buttons and links. On buttons and chips the system always picks whichever text color (white or black) reads better on your color; when the color is used as text or as a link on a light background and falls short of 4.5:1 against white, the preview shows a warning, but you can still save it.Where it appears: Settings → Branding tab
- Members
- Who gets into the farm, with which role and until when: the owner and the manager invite, change the role or the last day of access, and remove access. The details are in Team and roles.Where it appears: Settings → Members tab

Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I add more milking schedules?
The number of schedules is limited by "milkings per day". Raise that value first or remove a schedule.
Who can edit the settings?
Only users with the farm edit permission (owner and manager). Everyone else sees them in read-only mode. Only the owner and the manager see the Subscription and Members tabs.
What happens if I do not pay on time?
Nothing is cut off the day the period ends: the farm gets 10 days of grace and the owner and the manager see a notice with the deadline. If no payment is recorded in that time, the farm is paused: the team sees the “The farm is paused” screen and cannot record or look up anything, but the data is kept. As soon as the administrator records the payment the farm works again: tap “Try again”.
