Health with withdrawal computed, not guessed
Every treatment records the medication, the dose and the withdrawal days; Mi Finca computes until when that cow cannot be milked and flags her in the milking grid. Preventive protocols tell you when the next dose is due.

Dairy herd health without risk to the milk
On a farm that sells milk or makes cheese, the expensive mistake is not a missed vaccine: it is milking a cow under withdrawal and sending that milk to the tank. Mi Finca keeps each animal’s health history as a timeline — vaccines, deworming, treatments, diseases and checkups — and computes from it the day its milk and meat can be used again.
Preventive protocols come ready for dairy cattle in Costa Rica and adapt to your management; the calendar shows what is due this week and for which animals. Whoever milks sees the withdrawal in the shift grid without anyone having to remember, and the medication applied comes off the inventory on its own.
What your farm gains
Automatic milk and meat withdrawal
From the treatment’s end date plus the medication’s days; the milking respects it without anyone having to remember.
Protocols and calendar
Vaccines, deworming and supplements per species and age; one click marks the dose as applied.
Medication catalog with weight-based dosing
Save the medication once and the system suggests the dose from the animal’s weight; and the label is read with the camera.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to the milk of a cow under withdrawal?
If she is milked anyway, her litres go to a discard batch. They never reach the tank or the cheese room.
Can I define my own protocols?
Yes. Defaults for dairy cattle in Costa Rica come built in and you add, edit or deactivate your own.
Is quarantine automatic?
No: you set and clear quarantine by hand; diseases and treatments do change the health status on their own.
Does it deduct medication from the inventory?
Yes. When you record a treatment or apply a protocol dose with a catalog medication, the quantity comes off the inventory and the lot that expires first is suggested. If stock runs short it warns you but does not block the record.
What if a dose cannot be given?
Mark it as skipped with a reason — for example, the cow is pregnant or sick — and ask for the reminder to come back on a later date. A skipped dose does not put the animal under withdrawal or touch the inventory.
