The whole herd, animal by animal
Mi Finca keeps every animal with its official ID, its history and its family. What used to live in a notebook and in memory sits in one place, searchable from the phone in the barn.

Livestock management software that keeps the herd current
On a dairy farm the herd is where everything starts: milking, health, reproduction and, in the end, cheese and sales all depend on each animal. Mi Finca replaces the notebook and the spreadsheet with one record per animal: its ear tag, its category, its reproductive and lactation status and its full history, from birth or purchase until it leaves the farm.
It works for dairy cattle and also for goats, sheep and buffalo, each species with its own categories. Several people can work the same herd, each with their own user and role, and what one records in the pen the other sees right away in the office, on the phone or the computer.
What your farm gains
Official ID and genealogy
Ear tag, name, breed, birth date, dam and sire; the family tree builds itself.
Departures and returns with history
Sales, transfers, deaths and losses are recorded; an animal that left is archived, not lost.
Import Form 03
Upload SENASA’s PDF and Mi Finca reconciles it against your herd: it proposes new animals, corrections and re-tags for you to approve.
How it works

Photos, weights, body condition and parentage as you get them.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work for species other than cattle?
Yes. The herd supports cattle, goats, sheep and buffalo; each species has its own categories and reproductive timings.
What if an animal is sold and later comes back?
A sale is final: if you buy it back, it is registered as a new animal with origin purchase. Transfers and losses do allow a return.
Can I keep photos of each animal?
Yes, several per animal with one primary. Photos are stored in the cloud and shown on the record.
How is a tag change handled?
The system keeps each animal’s tag history, so an old form still recognises it by its previous number.
Can I record what I paid for a bought-in animal?
Yes. An animal bought from outside carries its purchase price, which counts as a cost in the profit and loss statement and in that animal’s profitability. And when you sell it, the sale exit keeps the amount and, if you want, the buyer and the weight.
